Georgia is a sweet little peach who came to MN with some past trauma issues. She is still somewhat cautious around humans, but loves loves loves her dog companions. She has made progress since her arrival and is learning to trust and that snuggles and pets are the best!

Georgia relies on her dog friends a lot who are teaching her confidence and that people are generally trustworthy providers of love and care. She is a true believer in the buddy system and will not go outside without a dog buddy or approach a human without a dog buddy nearby. Also she is definitely more comfortable with people sitting down rather than standing or walking around.

Georgia sleeps in her crate and often retreats there or under the loveseat when she needs to feel safe and secure. She also takes her meals in her crate as she prefers to eat when it’s quiet, comfortable, and away from her insatiable beagle friends.

She has been pretty quiet so far, despite living with three very chatty beagles. She may find her voice as she grows more comfortable and confident in her forever home. We don't think she will get very big, maybe 35-40 pounds as an adult

Georgia is still a puppy and is is still learning what is and what isn’t okay to chew. She loves playing with her toys and tennis balls, and chewing on antlers, bully sticks and elk horns.

She knows how to sit for treats and should respond well to additional training once she is settled in her new home.

Adoption Fee: $425

**Note on breed and age determination:

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
