My name is Demara and I’m on the market for a new home.  I love my foster home and all my foster siblings but my foster mom says I need to find a home of my own so that she can home another dog in need.  My foster family played a word game to describe me to potential adopters:

Devoted – my people are so important to me.  I always want to be around them and if I can get some snuggles on the couch, I’m in heaven!

Elegant – I am graceful but can wrestle with the best of them.  I love to play but I’m always a lady so I have good manners. 

Magnificent – my beauty is never ending and my ears make everyone smile.  One is always at attention while the other is flopped to the side.

Affectionate – If you give me your face I will kiss you as much as you allow me to.  I snuggle with my fur siblings, especially my brother Hank!

Radiant – I smile when my foster mom comes home from work.  She says my smile lights up the room

Attentive – I love to learn new tricks and ear goodies. Anything peanut butter related will win me over. When my foster siblings and I are getting treats I am patient and politely wait my turn.

I am potty trained and crate trained.  My foster dad loves how quickly I get my business done when we are outside.  I have a poop party and dance for you when I’m done! I sleep in my crate and am quiet as a mouse.  You can’t find a better treasure than me.  Am I the perfect fit for your home? Let’s meet up and see if we can make a connection.

**Note on breed and age determination: 

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

 

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

• Wellness check
• Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
• Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo 
• Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
• Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
• Microchip ​

~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
