Hi, I arrived from Missouri the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  I was just a little 6 lbs puppy and was very shy, plus skittish.  But in January I decided to be friendly and playful.  I go on walks with my foster about a mile, sometimes 2 miles in the morning, but I am too busy looking at everything, or wanting to chase something to be considered a good walker, don’t worry the foster is working on that.  I am really known for my zoomies, I can run forever around the outside of the house and the inside.  I am looking for the right person that has an outdoors personality to adopt me.  I fall asleep anytime after 8:00, but am woken up around 10:00 to go outside and go potty.  After that I am in my kennel until my foster gets up in the morning and we head outside before breakfast then 2 hours later back out for our walk.  I am almost potty trained, I love to fetch the ball, I sit, and I lay down on command.  I love playing with other dogs and I have met 3 different cats, which I got along with.  So if you have the perfect yard for playing in I AM YOUR DOG.

**Note on breed and age determination: 

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

• Wellness check
• Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
• Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo 
• Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
• Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
• Microchip ​

~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
