Hi there! I’m Jack, a 1-year-old, 6.5-pound Chihuahua with a big dog attitude wrapped in a tiny package. Don’t let my tough-guy intro fool you—I’m a total sweetheart who loves to cuddle with humans and dogs alike. Within 5 minutes after meeting you I will be cuddled on your lap. Playing with furry friends is my favorite pastime, and while I might bark a “hello” at strangers or dogs passing by, I’m quick to make new friends. Another confident dog in the house would be the icing on the cake for me!

I’ve got a calm temperament, and a soft spot for scratches and love. Right now, I sleep in my crate, but I’d be over the moon to snuggle up with my person at night. I’m mild-mannered, great with dog-savvy kids, and happy to entertain myself in a fenced yard. Think we’d be a match? Let’s meet and start our forever adventure!

**Note on breed and age determination:

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
