Hi, my name is Charleston!  I’m a 7 month old cattle dog mix from Missouri.  My dad is the cattle dog and we’re just not sure about my mom - possibly some terrier, chi & beagle.  All I know is that I’m pretty cute & lovable!  Every morning I can’t wait to get outside to play with the other dogs in our fenced yard.  My foster family has larger resident & foster dogs, so I’m used to running around with dogs of all sizes.  I get so excited to go on walks with the pack.  I also enjoy curling up on a lap for some snuggles and love to enjoy my favorite treat - a bully stick!  If the big dogs are ignoring me, I’m content to find a toy and entertain myself.  I’m potty trained on a schedule.  I sleep in bed with my foster parents and they tell me I’m an awesome cuddler!  I’m so excited to find my forever family - could that be you?

**Note on breed and age determination: 

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

• Wellness check
• Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
• Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo 
• Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
• Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
• Microchip ​

~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
