Miss Delilah is a darling girl who loves everything about life! Our best guess is she is a poodle/labrador mix. She is very affectionate and gets along with everyone. Delilah is a 9 month old puppy with energy who is learning basic obedience, leash-walking, and good manners inside the home. She is strong for being 30 pounds so someone with lots of patience and dog training experience would be ideal. Delilah wants to please the pack leader. Helping her mature from a big, goofy puppy into a well-mannered poodle lady is important.

Delilah is learning fast and has a great personality. She has learned how to climb stairs, walking outside on a leash, and some basic commands such as "walk, wait, upstairs, downstairs, and stop." Her personality is delightful! Delilah is content resting quietly in the home office while the human works. She is also ready for any outdoors adventure. Delilah travels well in the car too! She is gentle with taking treats. Delilah is respectful of older, smaller dogs.

If you are ready for Puppy 101 Training and want to continue to joining Delilah for Advance Training, she is your girl! She is very capable of being well-trained dog. She has all the silly and goofy traits you could ever want in a dog. On top of all that, Delilah is the most loving dog.

**Note on breed and age determination: 

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

• Wellness check
• Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
• Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo 
• Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
• Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
• Microchip ​

~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
