Hi, my name is Lexus. I am a sweet, fun-loving, goofy and super snuggly 60-pound pittie mix. I was found as a pregnant stray from Missouri. A few hours after being pulled from a shelter; I surprised everyone by delivering 7 beautiful babies, the Luxury Car litter. A week after delivery, my pups and I made the long journey to a loving foster home in Minnesota. After I raised my sweet pups and taught them how to be amazing furry family members, they have found their forever families. I have been spayed, no more babies for me! I am told that I am the perfect dog. I am trusted in the home not being kenneled, but will kennel if needed. Sometimes I may need to be kenneled to settle my excitement. There isn’t a dog or human that I don’t love. I enjoy wrestling and playing with toys, especially the squeaky ones!!! I also enjoy any chewing on benebones, yak chews and bully sticks. I am a professional snuggler, nothing feels better than a nap next to a human. I also enjoy being outside. I have spent hours lying on my foster mom’s lounger or on the second step watching over the yard. I promise one day I will get that squirrel. It is time for me to find my forever family; is that you? **Note on breed and age determination: 

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

• Wellness check
• Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
• Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo 
• Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
• Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
• Microchip ​

~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
