Cat Friendly:  I think so! I haven’t met one yet, but I’m a puppy and I love everything!

Kid Friendly: Absolutely! I LOVE KIDS!!!

Potty Trained: Almost there! I’m a quick learner and catching on fast.

Crate Trained: Yes! I enjoy eating and sleeping in my crate.

Hi there! My name is Dieter, but my foster mama calls me all sorts of fun names like Deeterdog, DeeDee, Bubba, and my favorite, “Who’s a good boy?” She says I’m a silly little puppy, and I have to agree! I’m full of energy and love to make people laugh with my goofy antics. I run so fast that I sometimes trip and roll over, get the zoomies for no reason, and my tail never stops wagging. I love chasing bugs and playing with all of my stuffies with squeakers!

I’m super curious and catch on to things really fast. I already know how to sit, go into my crate, and understand “Are you hungry?” I’m also learning how to play fetch. I’m great at chasing the ball and bringing it back, but I still need to work on giving it back to mama to throw again.

Did you see my video? I LOVE water and will happily play in my pool (and water bowl!). I’m learning to go potty outside, but I’m still a baby, so I forget sometimes. My mama doesn’t know my exact breed, but my birth mama was a beagle. With my yellow lab coloring and soulful beagle eyes, I’m quite the handsome pup!

**Note on breed and age determination: 

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

 

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

• Wellness check
• Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
• Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo 
• Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
• Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
• Microchip ​

~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
