Hiya I’m Grits! I’m a sweet pup that came up from Oklahoma with my mom and siblings. I’m one of the biggest of my siblings. My foster mom thinks I’m really goofy. I’m starting to listen really well and I love to snuggle and play. I like to play with my resident dogs, siblings, squeaky toys and chews. Cats are pretty interesting too. Will you be my new family?

I can go home to my new family when I turn 8 weeks old on 6/9/24. My foster mom says she isn't sure what breed mix I am but my mom is about 40 pounds and she guesses that I will be about 70-90lbs as an adult.

**Note on breed and age determination: 

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

• Wellness check
• Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
• Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo 
• Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
• Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
• Microchip ​

~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
