Hi I’m Cobbler! I’m a lab mix who was rescued in Oklahoma. The first couple of years of my life weren’t great and I’m learning to trust people again. I came up with my 6 puppies to help raise them until they could find their forever homes. Now it’s my turn. I love my foster family and their dogs and cats, but it does take me a couple of days to open up to new people. I have shown no aggression but am learning to not be so fearful on a leash and making progress. I start my long walking adventures a little fearful, but after a bit I show you how confident I am and just taking it all in. Once I open up, I want to be right next to you and cuddle. I do love to play with toys and other dogs and you’ll see my goofiness come out. I’m pretty quiet in my home and rarely bark. I would need a quieter home that has patient adults who are willing to let me open up at my own pace and work with me on gaining my confidence. It would also be best to have another dog friend in my home. I promise to give you endless snuggles and kisses.

**Note on breed and age determination: 

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

• Wellness check
• Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
• Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo 
• Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
• Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
• Microchip ​

~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
