WOOF, hello I’m Brisk! I’m about a 35 lbs lab mix, but think I’m a 5 lb yorkie. I HAVE to be as close to you as possible as soon as you sit or lay down. I’m just a puppy at 1 year old so I have lots of energy, but if you like long walks or even runs, I’m your guy! I’m potty trained and crate trained, I just get excited when my foster family comes home & will vocalize just how excited I am. I’m food motivated & know basic commands such as sit & shake already so with some time and training, my excitement in the kennel and jumping to get your attention will get better. If you have dog friend already, great! I love other dogs, they teach me how to be a dog & I’d love a friend to play with. If you’re looking for a walk and/or running buddy, a lap dog when I’m tired or even just a friend for the dog you already have, let’s meet!

**Note on breed and age determination: 

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

 

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

• Wellness check
• Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
• Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo 
• Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
• Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
• Microchip ​

~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
