Hello! My name is Godiva. I’m likely named after the chocolate brand because I am so sweet!
Once I get to know you, I will snuggle with you all day. I’ll just curl up right next to your leg on
the couch. I also like to burrow under blankets, so watch where you sit because I may be
hidden. I like people. But when someone new comes to my house, I let them know of my
presence by barking. I warm up quickly though if they play with me, feed me, or sit down on the
couch with me. I am passionate about my toys too. I love to play fetch and sometimes tug,
depending on my mood. I also like walking. In fact, I trot along happily and sniff what catches
my attention ... as long as the temperature is above 40, and it’s not raining or snowing outside.
Did I mention I do not like the cold? I would much rather stay inside when the weather is not
cooperating, hidden under my blanket. Overall, I am as sweet as Godiva chocolate and would
love for you to be my forever human that will get snuggles everyday!

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners. Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
