Ivy is the sweetest gentle senior dog you could ever meet. Definitely a love bug! I just can't think of any negatives for this little senior gal. She does have the wobbles to her hind quarters that were determined by Xray's that she has an old injury at the base of her spine. One hind hip is bone on bone. But this does not hold Ivy back. She does very well in the yard and around the home. Can do 3 steps up and down into my home with no problems. She loves to exercise in my fenced in yard and gazing out the gate. From Texas to Minnesota in the Winter she is pretty much living in a sweater. Needs to put on a few more pounds.
Bay Wee, as I lovingly refer to her, reaches out for affection. She loves to be with a human and pretty much ignores the other 3 dogs in the home. She loves to burrow under blankets in a crate or nice comfy dog bed. Really likes to have her back rubbed lightly and scratched. We haven't seen any interest in toys yet. But has learned really fast when meals are due. Loves her treats too! If you have any questions and would like to meet Ivy, please fill out an application. I guarantee her unconditional love.

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners. Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
