Hi my name is Eliot and I am a good boy!

My foster parents work from home, and I am quiet and respectful while they are in meetings. I curl up in my dog bed and snooze the day away. My foster mom does yoga every morning so I follow her downstairs, jump into my bed and wait quietly, usually by napping. She says I learn routines quickly!

I am a good walker - I love to smell all the fire hydrants! They walk me a few times a day and I am always happy to go. I don't mind rain, sleet, or snow! And I have never had an accident in the house!

I sleep in a kennel at night. Sometimes I whine a bit when I go in but I have been getting better and better.

My foster parents don't go out much but when they leave I go into my kennel. I do bark but they aren't sure for how long. When they come home the house has been quiet. But this might mean no shared walls.

When we go for a ride in the car I whine a bit on the way but once we stop the first time I don't make any noise. I have gone to stores and had lots of fun.

I get the occasional zoomie, but for the most part I am self-winding. Toys get tossed and I will chase them but then I like to throw them around myself and run around till it''s nap time again. They tell me I am self-entertained!

**Note on breed and age determination:

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
