Hello!! My name is Chase but I actually go by Otis - we have another Otis so I offered to change my name. However, you can change it to something that you think fits be best. I was born in Arizona and was brought up to Minnesota about 4 months ago to stay with this awesome family while my dad was away on a trip. Unfortunately my dad did not come back for me which made me very sad since the family that I am with tells me how sweet and amazing I am. I have learned a whole lot from being with this family and my dog friend Mustard (I know I said you can name me anything, but not a condiment please). Mustard has taught me how to be a dog and I would really like to have a dog friend in my new forever home. My foster parents tell me that I am still a puppy and have learned some of the basic commands. I do my business outside and I am a good listener. My family says that training will be best to make sure we have a bond. I am very eager to please so I know that I will do SO well. I get so excited when my foster family gets home and I give them lots of kisses. At night I sleep in bed with my foster dad. I really like to snuggle and take naps on the couch with my humans. I love to play inside and outside and my foster family gives me all sorts of toys to play with. My foster family will be very sad to see me go but they keep telling me that there is an amazing family out there for me and I am really hoping that it will be you. I cannot wait to meet you and show you how amazing and sweet I am.

**Note on breed and age determination: 

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

• Wellness check
• Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
• Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo 
• Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
• Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
• Microchip ​

~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
