Hi I'm Jackson! I came into rescue as a stray but I don't act like a stray, because I am 100% potty trained with no accidents at all in the house and I don't have any resource guarding or personal space issues. My foster dad loves how well behaved I am. I absolutely love going for walks, and I do very well on a leash, I don't pull on the leash or bark at anyone else we pass. When we aren't outside or on walks, I love to curl up on the end of the couch and stay warm by making a nest out of blankets. I get along great with the other two resident dogs, and am happy with all people I get to meet. I do just fine being kenneled but I may bark for a few minutes because I miss my humans, but then I realize everything will be ok and take a quick nap. I like to sleep in the bed at night with everyone else and am a very quiet sleeper until foster dad says its time to get up. I came into rescue with some skin issues which have been mostly resolved. Still working on some bare patches of skin on my rear end that are slowly regrowing the hair, and on my back legs because I licked them way too much when they were itchy. I might need a shampoo bath once in awhile to help me finish my treatment, but the vet helped me get back into tip top shape!

Adoption Fee: $425

**Note on breed and age determination:

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
