Reese is a lovable, energetic, and charismatic canine companion ready to bring joy to your life. Since meeting him, he has shown remarkable resilience and a genuine eagerness to connect with humans. Reese is a social butterfly. He adores people and craves human interaction. Whether it's playing fetch in the yard, going on long walks, or simply cuddling on the couch, Reese thrives on spending quality time with his human friends. Reese is a smart cookie who is eager to please. He's already mastered basic commands like "sit," "stay," and "down." He is a curious dog and tends to bark when he sees or senses another dog nearby  However, with proper training and socialization, this behavior can be managed and reduced. Due to how vocal he can be shared walls are not recommended.  Reese is house-trained and has good leash manners, making walks a breeze. He'd make an excellent hiking or jogging partner for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle.

**Note on breed and age determination: 

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

 

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

• Wellness check
• Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
• Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo 
• Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
• Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
• Microchip ​

~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
