** another dog required in home** Hi I’m Opal and I’m 9lbs of pure love and snuggles. I love nothing more than cuddling up on the couch or snoozing in my bed while my foster mom works. I enjoy walks on the leash and am getting pretty good at it! If you give me too long of a lead I may just do the cha cha slide and zig zag back and forth. If you keep me close though I’ll walk steady and only pull when I need a potty break. I am a very good sleeper and sleep through the whole night! I sleep in my crate on a cozy dog bed and will wake you up in the morning when I’m ready to go outside.
I still don’t quite grasp the concept of toys yet but every once in a while, you’ll see a small glimpse of playfulness with a ball that’s just hanging around.
While I enjoy hanging out and meeting new dogs, I am much more of a people pup. Don’t get me wrong my foster mom’s pup is pretty cool, but humans are my jam. If you love having a puppy shadow then I’m your gal!
Since I form such close bonds with my humans, I do experience high anxiety when being left alone. I would do best in a home with someone who works from home or is retired. My little heart just couldn’t handle being left alone for long periods of time.
I need a prescription diet for bladder crystals that I will need going forward but I have no problem eating my new food!
If you are looking for a true cuddle companion and a pup that wants nothing more than to hang out and go on adventures with you then I might just be your match made in heaven. Come say hello I’m super friendly

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners. Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
