My name is Genya , but my friends call me Jenni or Jen Jen, and I am the happy Havanese! I am five years young, very sweet and submissive. I smile when I get excited to see my foster mom and am waiting to be picked up. I am a tiny little nugget of puppy love, I'm maybe 5 lbs soaking wet, so I like to be held or sit on laps. I might not be winning any fetch awards, but I will definitely win over your heart with my mad snuggling skills. If a night of snacks, snuggling and sitcoms is your thing, we might be a perfect match!

I came from a commercial breeder and I am slowly taking in all this big new world around me. Everything is so big and loud and busy! I like to stick with my foster mom, give her plenty of kisses as a thank you for all the love she has been giving me. While my hair is currently short, it is soft as silk and will grow nice and long. So there will be some maintenance there. I need to be sure I am always ready for my close up, puppy paparazzi and all! I sleep in my kennel near my foster mom's bed. Since I am so tiny, it's much safer for me in my big comfy bed.

I've mastered the leash & I know how to go up and down the stairs, so I can run out into the yard with my foster brothers for potty time. I don't really understand the point of toys at this time, but am happy to gnaw away on protein chewy of some kind. If you are hoping to find the warmest most beautiful piece of arm candy around, I am waiting for your application!

**Note on breed and age determination: 

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

• Wellness check
• Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
• Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo 
• Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
• Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
• Microchip ​

~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
