**Another confident dog in the house and fence required**

Lilikoi is such a special girl! While she does ask for some patience as she gets to know you, she makes it worthwhile with her goofy personality and expressive ears.

She does not let the big dogs in the house scare her and has learned lots of new things thanks to them, including the joy of fetch, sit and down, walking on a leash, and watching football. This little girl loves all kinds of toys, but will also share with the other dogs in the house.

Lilikoi likes her crate and goes in without making a sound, whether it's time for you to run errands or time for her to go to bed. She stays quiet, even if you're still moving around, and sleeps through the night. Lilikoi patiently waits for you to wake up for the first potty break of the day. She knows exactly what to do when let out - she gets to business right away. If there's time to play, she will gladly do so and then eagerly comes back to the door when told "let's go."

**Note on breed and age determination: 

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

• Wellness check
• Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
• Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo 
• Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
• Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
• Microchip ​

~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
