Hello! My name is Prince Finley. I am a sweet boy who likes affection, walks, and ham. I am a good listener when my foster mom tells me to "leave it". And my recall is pretty darn good too. A little bit about me is that I LOVE my people. I like to follow my humans around the house or on walks. I love it when they give me scratches and will sometimes stick my behind in the air just to make sure they get the right spot. I also enjoy a good game of "chase the squirrel". My prey drive is pretty strong, but I have learned to "leave them be" on walks when my foster mom tells me to leave them alone. I really enjoy going on walks and would love to have one every day. I do well on a leash and I am conditioned on a nose loop if that ever needs to be an option.

I have been pretty good with dogs that I have met so far, especially the little ones. I'm not a fan of the crate, but I do well when left loose in the house, especially when I start to understand the routine of the humans and begin to trust that they will come back to me. Lastly, I LOVE to sit outside! I could do it all day. I wouldn't mind a fenced backyard, but it is not necessary for me. Anyway, I hope to see you at the adoption events. I can't wait to meet my forever human!

**Note on breed and age determination: 

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

• Wellness check
• Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
• Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo 
• Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
• Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
• Microchip ​

~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
