Hello! My name is Diesel and I am a sweet, gentle, loving Border Collie mix who will shower you with love and smiles.

I love to hang out with other dogs in the yard or around the house. When I get tired, I simply cuddle up in my crate. I especially love to be around people. Sometimes I can be shy at my first introduction to humans, but I warm up quickly!

I enjoy my walk to go pick up my human foster brothers from school. I sniff a little, but generally walk along enjoying life. My foster family has been testing me on my obedience as well. They have figured out I come when I am called, sit and lay down. They think I am super smart! I can’t wait to get to my forever home and show them all the love I have to give! Could that be your’s?

**Note on breed and age determination: 

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

• Wellness check
• Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
• Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo 
• Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
• Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
• Microchip ​

~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
