Say hello to Laila who is such a good girl.  She is a little shy when you first meet her but is super sweet and very mellow.  Laila loves to lay on your lap and just wants to be petted all day long.  If a lap is not available, she will happily take long naps on her favorite doggie bed with a soft blanket.  She likes to go for short walks  and check out the neighborhood.  Her tail will wag non stop when she sees her favorite human.  She doesn’t mind the 3 large resident dogs in her foster home and is indifferent to cats.  Laila is crate trained.  She had a couple of accidents in the house when she first arrived but will take care of business outside now.  Laila also knows how to use pee pads if it is really cold.  She will stand up on her hind legs if you have a treat for her – she definitely loves her food and treats!   If you are looking for a very calm, sweet dog and true companionship, she is the one for you!  Please consider making her a part of your family.  I promise you will not regret it!

**Note on breed and age determination: 

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

• Wellness check
• Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
• Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo 
• Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
• Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
• Microchip ​

~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
