Odie is the sweetest little nugget. His favorite activities include snuggling, playing, and more snuggling. He gets along great with other dogs, and has even started to win over our resident cat (he does well with dog-savvy cats). Odie is potty trained, kennel trained, and is overall very intuitive. It doesn’t take him long to pick up on the routine. He loves being wherever you are – whether that’s on a bed in the corner, or right on your lap – he’ll make himself right at home. He has really blossomed in his foster home, and is comfortable with new people and places. He was a bit nervous when he first arrived at rescue, but he had just gone through some major life changes, so that’s understandable. Now that he’s comfortable, he’s really let his goofy personality come out. He may even give you a little “woo-woo” if he’s excited!

Odie can get out of a 4ft fence if he sees a bunny, so we recommend either keeping him on a tie-out, or a 5ft fence or taller. He does just fine on a tie-out in our yard. He really loves a nice sunny day to hang out outside!

**Note on breed and age determination:

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
