Hello All!! My name is Tarragon and I am an amazing pup!
I know that I am so adorable but I am also a well behaved pup. I get along well with my siblings and humans. My humans say that I have such a wonderful personality and I would be the perfect addition to any family.
At night I sleep with my siblings in our puppy room and we use potty pads and a litter box. I am not fully potty trained but I know that this is something that I will pick up pretty quick. During the day I play, eat, sleep, snuggle and then I do it all over again. It's a pretty difficult life :) I really like sleeping on the puppy beds that we have and if I am allowed I am sure that I will enjoy sleeping with you in your bed!
I can't wait to find my amazing family!
He has been seen by an internal medicine specialist and diagnosed with Megaesophagus (basically an esophagus that doesn’t push food down to the stomach like it normally should), at times causing regurgitation.
Supportive therapy for dogs with megaesophagus includes:
•
Raising food and water bowls to let gravity help the eating process.
•
Changing the form of food based on the dog’s specific needs.
•
Providing smaller, more frequent meals throughout the day.
•
Encouraging dogs to sleep with their front end slightly elevated.
•
Medications
Dogs with megaesophagus can live happy lives with regular veterinary care and pet parent dedication.
Adoption Fee: $450

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners. Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
