Hey everybody! My name is Zeus and I am a 2-ish year old hound mix and am about 45 lbs. I have been with my foster parents for a while now and am ready to find my permanent forever home! My favorite things include playing with any kind of ball, rough housing with my pup friends, getting my belly rubbed, and snuggling with my foster parents and foster sister.
I have made a lot of progress since being with my foster parents but still have some ways to go! I have a bit of some stranger danger where I can be a little nervous and scared of meeting new people, especially when I am on a walk. However, I get along with almost every kind of dog, but am a little nervous of dominant male doggos. I am fine with respectful kiddos but would prefer to be around kids that are older. I could really use a confident human and doggo sibling to make me feel comfortable and safe. Once I am comfortable with my humans and surroundings, my goofy personality really shines through! Also. I hate the vet. Enough said.
I would looove a fenced in yard that I can run around in as I get a little mischievous indoors when I get bored. I am fully potty trained and am used to being kenneled while my foster parents are at work! I might get a little sad when I’m in there, but if you offer me a treat, I will gladly accept and run as fast as I can into my kennel. I am still a young boy and have some tendency to jump on people when I’m excited. I would love a foster parent that could work with me on this so I can become the perfect gentleman!
I am the sweetest boy and with a patient and loving potential family, I know I can thrive and be an amazing addition to your home. Thanks for checking out my bio!

More about Zeus
Good with Dogs, Does not require a yard, Cratetrained, Timid, Affectionate, Needs a companion animal
Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners. Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
