Ellis got her name from the farm she was live trapped on, Ellis Farm! She is a typical black lab - wants to play and run until the cows come home! Any ball, anytime, is fair game and she is ready to rumble!  She would love to have a hiking or running partner to burn her energy with.

Ellis has the CUTEST personality.  She thinks she's a small dog & loves to 'crawl' into your space and rub her 'tiny' body all over your fac e.  I can't stop laughing EVERY TIME!  It takes her a minute to meet new people, but give her treats and she'll roll right over. TOTAL LOVE BUG!

**Note on breed and age determination: 

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

• Wellness check
• Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
• Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo 
• Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
• Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
• Microchip ​

~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
