**NO SHARED WALLS. A CONFIDENT CANINE COMPANION NEEDED IN THE HOME**
This handsome boy is Eli, and he’s looking for his ride or die. Eli came from some less than ideal beginnings down South, but he’s putting that all in the rearview as he moves forward on his amazing journey. All he needs now is a fellow traveler to adventure with.
Eli is just over 2 years old, and as full of energy and love for life as that implies. He loves to run, play with people and other dogs, smell all the good things, and then end the day curled up gazing adoringly at his favorite person. He gives the absolute best hugs and kisses! He’s done well with all size dogs, and would very much like another dog in his forever family to play with and show him the ins and outs of the good life. He can be unaware of his own strength, however, so should not live with very small dogs. He thinks cats are indoor squirrels that require eviction, so no feline or small animal siblings either. Eli thrives with activity, so either a fenced yard to run and play in or very active family would be ideal. He has a big voice that he uses in both play and to let you know when the house is under siege by the UPS driver, so shared walls would not be the best setting for him.
Eli is house trained, and has lovely manners. He loves people of all ages, and adapts well to new situations with calm introductions. He does sometimes startle, especially in low light, so may not have the best night vision, but can see clearly enough to know what he wants, and that’s someone to cover in his endless love.
Adoption Fee: $325

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners. Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
