Hi, I’m Nina! I’m a playful pup with dog toys, my front paws spring off the ground while I pounce. I’m trying to learn fetch but sometimes I forget to grab the toy and just want to play with my person.  I love when my foster mom comes home and often get the zoomies all over the house. Im really fast! I’m getting pretty good at crying when it’s time to go outside and know the phrase “Nina, go potty outside?” really well. 
More than anything, I love to be held and nap on a lap. I sleep through the night snuggled under the blankets and have to be convinced that it’s time to get up in the morning. While my paws get cold in the snow, I do really well on my leash and look forward to longer walks when the weather gets nicer! 
My humble beginnings leave me a little nervous about new people at first but once I warm up, I’ll be playful and cuddly. I’ve been on many puppy play dates and love playing “gotcha” with my friends. I can’t wait to meet you and I hope you have treats to share.

**Note on breed and age determination: 

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

 

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

• Wellness check
• Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
• Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo 
• Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
• Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
• Microchip ​

~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
