Dog friendly: Yes Madeira - Madeira is a very special, social boy. He is the pup most likely to ask to be held, to give gentle kisses, and snuggle in tight. While he loves playing with his mama and siblings, he's the most human focused pup in the litter. He loves to follow his human brother and tease him into playing, and has also been raised with big dogs and cats. He will thrive in an attentive home where can be someone's very best buddy. Sweet Mama Tawny, a loving, beautiful, petite retriever mix, came from Missouri with six puppies on board. Daddy must have been considerably larger, as the pups are on a path to being approximately 70 to 100 pounds as adults. Given their coats and looks, we think he may have been a Newfoundland. Whatever their genetic makeup, these pups are well on their way to being great family members, having lived with other dogs, cats, kids, and getting lots of play time with family and friends. They will be ready to go home with their new families on December 23rd, when they are 8 weeks old.

Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
