This beautiful boy is Pilot. He loves working his brain and already knows basic commands. True to the husky nature Pilot loves to be outside and he’s a Houdini. He loves his walks and goes potty on leash so with an active family he does not require a fence. If you plan to use a fence it either needs to be a 6ft privacy fence with measures to keep him from digging under or an invisible fence.
Pilot has a good on/off switch. He will happily laze about indoors but loves to be outdoors and go on walks or jogs. He is potty trained and will whine to let you know when he needs to go. Pilot would do well either as an only dog or living with a female dog. He enjoys the company of other dogs and is a fan favorite at doggy daycare. He is friendly with all people but should only reside with adults or older children who can set boundaries.
Pilot currently sleeps in our bedroom on his dog bed. When his family is gone he has the run of the house with his toys, chews and frozen kong and is non-destructive. He has only been alone for up to 5 hours at a time. He did use a kennel when he first arrived here and with crate games he tolerated it. Pilot is not overly vocal for a husky mix, he occasionally barks at dogs passing by the house and howls with sirens.
This super soft furball is a little goofy, very sweet and would make an amazing companion for active adult(s) who love to be outdoors as much as he does. Do you want to meet?

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners. Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
