Hi! I'm Hawkins I'm a goofy boy that's new to Minnesota. I have been loving home life in my foster home. There's couches, toys, treats, playmates and warm blankets to burrow in. I really love having another dog friend around to play with, but I think I can get use to being solo. I really get along with everyone and everything that I meet. I can't wait to go to my forever home!

From foster Mom: Hawkins is a silly guy with an amazing personality. He is super smart and treat motivated, I predict training will go well. He is use to being around other dogs and cats and kids of all ages. He is working on potty training, does fairly well with a potty pad and going outside. He does not like his crate training. The only success we have had is kenneling him with his sister. He is more confident and comfortable with another dog to play with. When he's solo he's fine too, he'll just want to follow you everywhere!

In a nut shell he's amazing. And I predict an amazing future for him.

**Note on breed and age determination: 

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

• Wellness check
• Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
• Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo 
• Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
• Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
• Microchip ​

~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
