It is said German shepherds are gentle, calm, highly intelligent, loyal, caring, and alert. Hank is all these- and more. He loves his people and enjoys sharing space with them. He is always excited to see you and be with you and will make you feel safe with his sheer size.

Hank is great with all ages of people, including children, as well as other dogs. He is fully house and crate trained. Hank does well in the crate for a full workday, or he can be left uncrated in the house. Hank will do best with lots of time together and daily walks. (He does so well walking on the leash!).

Being an early senior, Hank does have beginnings of cataracts, so his near vision is somewhat dim, and he may bump into you or things sometimes; this does not stop him in any way! On the positive side, the vet said his joints are in excellent condition though. Hank is an amazing companion and just loves his people. Will you be his person?

Adoption Fee: $250

**Note on breed and age determination:

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

  • Wellness check
  • Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
