Pidgey is a fantastic little friend! She loves her people and wants to be close at all times. Do you want a velcro dog? A little shadow? She fits the bill! She is great on a leash and fantastic in the car! Loves other dogs and cats, and LOVES kiddos. She sleeps in bed at night and buries herself under the covers. If you'd like a lap dog that never lets you out of her sight- this one is for you! Pidgey loves to have her back scratched and to flop over on her back when she gets pets. She climbs into anyone's lap that will let her- noone is a stranger to this girl!
Pidgey's ideal home would be one where her people are home often or where she can go with them to work. For the first 3-5 minutes, Pidgey gets upset after her people leave. She will settle down in the crate to sleep in a few minutes, but probably no shared walls for her. Pidgey does best in a home with another dog for company. She is a bit wary of large men, but she LOVEs her foster dad. Pidgey is still working on potty training, but has gone for over a week with no accidents - so she's almost there! Overall, Pidgey is a little gem of a dog that charms everyone she meets and could fit into almost any home situation.

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners. Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
