My foster parents call me Terabyte, or Tera for short. I’m a fairly small beagle mix. My family thinks I’m about 1-2 years old and I had 3 babies around the end of December. I’m definitely a momma; constantly watching over my humans- even more so than my babies! In fact, I am very friendly! I love to sit on laps and want to snuggle all the time. I’m not afraid of people, but I can be cautious until I know people want to love me. My foster parents think that’s because I wasn’t loved much before. I think they’re right. My foster parents tell me to sit, come, stay, play nicely, and be gentle. I’m not sure what any of that really means, but I’m trying hard to please everyone! Even tho it’s cold, I have been pottying outside and only had 2 accidents so far. I don’t say much, unless my foster sister “tells” me to bark first. I sleep in the kennel at night, but I’d so much rather be sleeping with my humans. I try to talk to them and tell them when I’m a little lonely, but I’m learning that when it’s dark out, everyone sleeps in their own spots. If you want a shadow and companion to show you love, I’m definitely your girl! I cannot wait to meet you, and then snuggle up for movie night!

**Note on breed and age determination: 

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

• Wellness check
• Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
• Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo 
• Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
• Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
• Microchip ​

~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
