Hi, I’m Raven a 6yr old female schnauzer. I came into rescue very terrified of my new surroundings, but I am finding out how great life truly is. I don’t hide in my kennel anymore and love to follow the resident dog around. I think I would prefer a forever home with another canine friend for me and I also get along great with cats. I most likely need a fenced in yard. I do okay on a leash, but I like to roam around on my own. I like being in my kennel anytime my foster mom and dad have to leave me, so there is no problem getting me to go in there. I have yet to be around children, but I am thinking I would not like small children that would try to grab me. I am still learning to trust humans I have not met before, but I warm up pretty quickly when I spend more time with them. I like to be near you and follow you around to see what you are up to and belly rubs are my FAVORITE. I also LOVE food and treats, so that will be a good motivator for me!! My foster mom and dad are still working on my potty training, but I know I’ll get there. I have a lot of love to give, but I just need some time and patience to get comfortable. I also enjoy playing with other dogs, if only my senior resident schnauzer would let me play with him….I would love to find my forever home with you!
