Ice Cube is an active and incredibly smart boy who loves nothing more than to stretch his long legs on a walk, in the yard, or at a park. He is playful and fun and knows basic commands: sit, down, shake, lay, wait, and break (for use when on a walk and fixated on something). He also does well with the command “come” – especially when you combine it with the word “treat”! And, boy, does he have a gentle mouth for such a big boy! He continues to work on not pulling while on the leash; he just is so excited to go, go, go! His beautiful, deep voice alerts you when company arrives, but he quickly changes to tail wagging when guests enter the house. He loves people and his short, little tail just doesn’t stop. Ice Cube is fully potty trained. He is also fully crate trained and does well in the crate for a full workday. He loves to play with other dogs, but no cats for him, please. Ice Cube does know what “off” means, but we are still working on not counter surfing. It’s just so hard when you’re tall enough to reach the counters easily! Ice Cube is a bundle of enthusiasm, so he needs to join a family with adults or older children. Ice Cube wants an outgoing and friendly companion(s) – if you can lob a tennis ball and go on walks, you’ll have a friend for life! And, yes, Ice Cube does like ice cubes

**Note on breed and age determination: 

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

• Wellness check
• Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
• Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo 
• Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
• Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
• Microchip ​

~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
