Hello! Do you like candy? I have the sweetest Candy around! Candy is a Lhasa Apso approximately 8 years old and weighs about 11lbs. Candy is from a puppy mill in Missouri, she does like to have a coat on outside when it is cold. She is so sweet and is such a snuggle bug, she likes to lay over your heart whenever she can. She is learning to jump up on furniture and she will come over and put her paws on your knees when she wants to be held. She has mastered the steps and she will use a puppy door if one is available. She likes to sleep in bed with her person not in the crate but will go in a crate when left at home alone for longer periods of time. Candy has in the sun, whether taking a sun bath or chasing squirrels with her furry siblings. She will need to have another dog in the house, it doesn't matter the size as she gets along with all dogs. We have been working on using the leash, she is very good if she is leading but not quite so good if you are leading her, she does like to be in a puppy sling. She is working on potty training and doing pretty good since she had her bladder stones removed. Due to her bladder stones she will need to have regular vet rechecks. Candy gets along with all humans and dogs big or small, we are not sure about cats. She likes to play with toys, chew on bones and loves treats.
Adoption Fee: $525

**Note on breed and age determination:

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
