Reynolds is a sweetheart - he loves everyone! However, due to his excitement around people, he tends to jump - something we are working on! He’s great with kids, but because he still jumps up he can knock down smaller kids, not trying to hurt them just be close. He didn't come house trained, but within 1 day had the hang of it!! No accidents since. He’s a smart one and wants to please so bad, he’ll be a breeze to train in things. He walks well on a leash but is scared of loud trucks as they drive by. He rides well in a car but wants to lean over and give you kisses He is a chewer, loves bones, and unfortunately anything else chewable so I don’t leave him loose when I’m not home. He doesn’t like the crate at all and has destroyed anything on top of the crate. He’s a quiet dog, I haven’t heard him bark yet. He does talk when first in the crate but it’s not very loud. He sleeps in my bedroom on a dog bed, does well all night. He has actually gotten my crabby bulldog to play!! He’s a very good boy!

**Note on breed and age determination: 

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

• Wellness check
• Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
• Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo 
• Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
• Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
• Microchip ​

~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
