Rip is a husky-shepherd mix, so he likes to hit the ground running with all his puppy energy.
He was found on the Pine Ridge Reservation with his sister, Beth, when they were just 6-7 weeks old. They have two resident husky pups in their foster home that are helping them with socialization that is so important for puppies.
Rip's favorite things seem to be playing as much as possible with his sister and resident huskies, and humans. Every human he has met so far, seems to be his favorite.
Rip is working on potty training on a schedule. He sleeps in a pen at night and hangs out in it with his sister when foster dad needs to be gone for short periods of time during the day.
Rip would really love a family that understands the energy needs of his breed mix. Even better if that family has a resident pup he can play with and continue to learn from.
He really can't wait to meet you, like, seriously, when can he meet you so he can let you shower him with love? :)
Adoption Fee: $495

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners. Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
