My name is Sable and I’m a super special little girl. You might be surprised at how feisty I am since I am the smallest pup in my family. Since I’m so petite, I’ve had to be tough from the beginning. I even got to go on a special trip to the vet when I was little because I got an infection in my leg from a scratch by one of my siblings. My humans have had to give me a lot of help with bottles and getting me close to my Mama to nurse when I couldn’t fight my way in. My leg is all healed now and I’ve even been the first of my siblings to climb out of ANY pen I get put in! I also like to jump up and call out to my humans so I don’t get lost in the crowd when they come in the room. Real sables don’t make good pets, but I promise to be a playful, loving, and entertaining addition to your family! PS I’m super cute, too! I was the ninth-born on Black Friday of my pack of 10! We have been so lucky to have lived all together in the same home with our Mama since we were born. Our family thinks Mom is a Black Mouth Mountain Cur mix and Dad was a Black Lab. My siblings and I are all named for something black, night, or dark related. Our humans love us so much and we have loved spending our first weeks with them. I’m really starting to like the other dogs (Mama and 3 others) in the house. My siblings and I are just starting to get used to exploring the house, stairs, and other dogs. We’re even learning to sleep in our crates, so I will be ready to check out my new kennel when I go to my forever home! I may cry a bit in the beginning, but that’s because I’m used to sleepovers every night with my nine siblings. so please give me some time to adjust to my new home. Just like all puppies, I like to chew on pretty much anything I see, but that’s how I explore my world, so please have patience with me and plan on having lots of toys for me to chew and play with. If you decide to meet me, I promise you will love me as soon as you lay eyes on me! I will be available for adoption on Friday, January 21st, when I turn 8 weeks old.
