Lennon is a sweet girl and about 2.5 years old. We are not sure the breed, of course, but we see some American Bulldog or boxer in her face, maybe some Great Dane because of how long her legs are and there is definitely some hound in her because she has a fabulous howl and wants to chase all the squirrels, bunnies, and birds that are outside on our walks.

Lennon has a very even temper and has a playful and joyful spirit. Absolutely a sweetie pie. She is potty trained and crate trained though her foster mom stopped kenneling while at work after a couple days and she’s been just fine out in the house. No chewing or accidents in the house. She loves all people and kids. She is great with other dogs and really misses not having a dog in the house to play with like she did at her first foster home. She has not been exposed to cats, so we aren't sure how she would do. She is high activity and would love a yard to run and play. She’ll chase squirrels and bunnies all day!

Lennon is very smart! She knows sit, lay down, and No, of course. She is working on stay, leave it, and “walk nice” to stay on the path and stop pulling on leash. She is very strong and will be amazing with some consistent training.

We do not know a lot about her history. She's from a crowded shelter in Missouri where she was picked up as stray. We think she was probably treated very harshly in her early days as she cringes away from a loud "no". She’s independent, smart, and beautiful. You will be lucky to have her.

Adoption Fee: $395

**Note on breed and age determination:

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
