Hi there. We are Clyde: I'm the black adorable pug, and Dennis: I'm the tan, even more adorable pug. We basically finish each other's -- sentences!
We are the best of pals, we enjoy snuggling up with each other on the couch, or in our crate when our humans are away, and on our doggie bed... We love to always be touching when we're relaxing! But best of all, we want to snuggle with our people too!! You could say we are a little obsessed with snuggling!
We love running around the backyard, playing chase with each other (we have to get our zoomies out), and getting all of the good smells that are around the yard! Since we are a duo, we like to be sure that we both leave our scents together in the same spots when we're out to pee. It's very rare that a spot gets marked by only one of us! We are very diligent at making sure of this!!
Like most best buds, we do have our little spats. It just happens sometimes when you spend this much time together, even the best of buds can get annoyed with each other. When it comes to food we get a bit selfish, so at feeding time, we like to eat separately from one another. Similarly we tend to get a little jealous when the other one is getting way more attention than the other and we can get a little nippy at each other. Our foster family has been teaching us that there will always be food for us to eat and that there's plenty of love to go around though so we're making progress on our jealousy.
We also can get a little excited at times! And when one of us gets excited, the other one tends to get even more excited, which makes the original excited pug get even more excited, and.... you can see where this is going. I guess you could say we tend to get really excited together! It's just that sometimes we want to make sure that you know we're there and that we're excited! To make sure you know how excited we are, we like to get really noisy, and in case you can't hear us, we like to jump on your legs to make sure you can see us, and in case you didn't feel the jump, we sometimes nip at your hands lightly to get your attention to really make sure you know we're there! We're not trying to hurt anyone, we just want you to know that we're here and so excited, especially when you get home from being away!!! We realize this isn't the best way to show our excitement and we have some work to do on taking it down a notch! Due to this, we probably would be best in a house rather than an apartment since we can get a bit noisy and in a home where the jumping and nipping won't bother small children.
We are really loving pug boys that are looking for our forever family to love and learn from. We just cannot wait to meet you to show you what we're all about!
