Hello! I am Holly, a little beagle girl who is looking for my perfect forever home! I have been working very hard to learn people are good, I am shy and timid with new people and will take a little time to warm up but once I know I am safe, I love to snuggle and give the gentlest kisses.
I came from a very scary place where people weren't very nice to me.
My foster mama keeps telling me
that not all people are scary and that I'm a very good girl to be so brave with all these new things: going outside / coming back in all by myself, a blanket all my own to curl up in, yummy food that I don't have to share, bully sticks to gnaw on, snuggles on the couch and a warm, dry comfortable bed to sleep in

I like to play with other dogs and can be quite goofy with them: chase is fun! I really need to have another dog at my new home to learn from. I like playing with toys too - I like to shred stuffies to look for that squeeker! I love to be outside, exploring and smelling all the new smells. I am a bit fearful and need a fenced in yard to keep me safe - the bigger world is still scary for me.
I am potty trained as long as you don't forget to let me go out on a regular basis. I'm not sure about being in my crate initially but I do quiet down after a few minutes. I am learning how to walk on a leash, but it's still a bit overwhelming for me- I'm trying really, really hard! I need a yard that has a fence so I can be safe and be sure I don't run off on an unsupervised adventure. I also require a home with a dog, so that I can continue to learn and find comfort in a canine companion.
