Hi! I'm Delilah. I was rescued from Missouri, where my life was in danger. I am very sweet and loving once I warm up to you. I get nervous when new people come into my house, but warm up quickly with slow and gentle introductions. I love to play with other dogs and am very submissive. Walks are my favorite because I love smelling everything! I haven't gone into a crate while living with my foster family because I behave very well when they aren't home. I get scared of big sounds and fast movements, but I'm getting a lot better by living in a safe place. My foster brother, who is also a Bloodhound has taught me how to bay, but I usually am quiet. Toys don't really impress me...unless it's a tennis ball! I am a really good girl and ready to finally live my best life in a safe and loving home!

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners. Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

Wellness check
Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo
Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
Microchip

~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
