Single dirty blonde, looking for her life partner. Long, flowing locks and a tender smile, and a tail that will sweep away all of your worries. I’ll give you tight hugs and lots of kisses, because I want my hoomans to be happy hoomans. In return, I would adore a life partner who could help me learn manners so I can be the best dog ever!
If you’re looking for a fuzzy, soft, snuggly cuddle monster, I’m your girl! I love meeting new people. I jump up high to lick your face. I also use my teeth, but I’m gentle! It’s only for play. I would love my new family to teach me better manners. Kids are great, but they would need to be old enough as I’m still learning not to jump.
I go in my “kennel” when told. I howl and bark for a bit, but then I settle down & take a nap. Just give me a couple old blankets and a chew bone and I’ll go right to sleep. I’m learning the kennel is a positive space.
Since coming into rescue I’ve lived with another dog my size, and met a few dogs in the neighborhood. After spending some time with them, I’ve decided I should be an only dog. I just want my people all to myself!
I love to hunt, both indoors and outdoors. On walks, I will lock onto any critter within sight, doing my best to chase them down. Sometimes, it distracts me and I forget that I’m supposed to do my business outside. Oh but they look so fun!! Back indoors, I like to explore all the small things to chew so I will need lots of appropriate chew toys to keep me busy. My foster dad says I just need a consistent routine. I love to get scratchies and nummies when I do it right.
Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners. Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
