Hi, my name is Ricardo and I can’t wait to meet you!  If you like to go for long walks, hikes or even running, I would be a great partner for you.  Just as any 2-year old husky, I love being outside and watching squirrels and other critters in the yard so a fence would probably be a good thing to have.  Of course, I enjoy snuggling with you too and just chilling out at home.   I take treats very nicely; I have to look at them first, sniff them and then slowly savor them.  When it’s time for a nap, I sometimes just go into my kennel and hang out there.  I get along well with the two large resident dogs at my foster home and have not bothered the chickens or bee hives on the property.     If you are looking for a great, active companion who likes people and other dogs, I am the one for you!  Please consider adopting me, I promise you will not regret it!

**Note on breed and age determination: 

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

• Wellness check
• Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
• Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo 
• Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
• Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
• Microchip ​

~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
