Isn't Lia the cutest thing you have ever seen? This tiny girl is packed with personality!
Lia LOVES butt scratches. She will roll over on her side and act like the silliest goober you have ever seen the second you start scratching. She's also a sucker for behind the ear scratches. "Hello! Can you keep doing that please?" is what she will say.
Even though Lia is tiny, she has a big appetite and loves her food. She has no problem eating kibble regardless of the fact that she has no teeth. Lia will eat just about anything you put in front of her, she is not a picky girl. Watch out though! If you drop food on the floor, she is sure to snatch it up in a quick second!
Lia enjoys snuggling right next to her human on the couch. Sometimes she prefers being on your shoulder, or the back of your neck. Regardless, she wants to be close to you. If she isn't up on the couch or bed with you, she will let you know that she wants to be by whining. This girl knows what she wants and she will find a way to get it. :)
Communicating with Lia is usually easy because she is often looking right at her person. If she isn't looking at you, it's a little more difficult because she can't hear! It's pretty rare that Lia isn't looking at you though. She loves her humans!
Speaking of humans, Lia is good with all ages! She often prefers the person who will pet her the most but she is happy to spend time with anyone. Lia is also good with other dogs but she will try to nip at them (with no teeth) if they get right in her face or are too close to her food. She would do well with or without another dog in her forever home.
Lia is doing well on potty training but mostly prefers potty pads. Can you blame her? It's hard to want to go outside to potty when it gets cold! If you don't have potty pads down and aren't keeping a close eye, she will find somewhere to go. Usually on something that looks like a potty pad. Oops!
Lia walks perfectly on a leash so she does not need a fenced yard.
