Hi! My name is Tanner and I am about 2 years old and I think I am Pit

bull/Lab mix. I weigh around 70 pounds. I am very curious, love life and to

please my owner. I came to Minnesota from Missouri. An 87 year old women

took me in when the neighbors neglected me. She already had 3 dogs and a

cat so was unable to keep me. That’s how I ended up in rescue & now I’m hoping to find my forever family.

I do best in a fenced backyard. I enjoy exploring the backyard and laying in

the sun. My current foster also has a lake home in Hayward and I get to play

with other dogs when I am up at the lake. I play ball with myself but I prefer

to play with other dogs or kids. When my 4 year old nephew comes over,

Jackson and I play chase and we have so much fun. I chase the bunnies and

squirrels around the back yard. I can run really fast when I chase them!

My owners daughter came for a week to visit. We bonded right away. I get so

excited when she comes home and she pets me and plays ball with me in the

back yard. When we are inside, I sit by her while she works or watches tv.

I hardly ever bark. I get excited when another dog wants to play with me and I

occasionally bark softly but in the entire time with my foster family they have

only heard me bark a few times.

When I am inside, I am pretty mello. I lay around when you’re not here,

waiting for you to come back home. I really want a new permanent family to

love me and I will love you back.

I am house trained and I am smart and learn quickly. I cant wait to meet my

forever family!

Adoption Fee: $325

**Note on breed and age determination:

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
