I came from South Dakota to Healing Hearts with my five puppies in June. I took great care of my babies, and even played with them quite a bit; you know I’m only just over a year old myself! I was ready when it was time to let them go to their forever homes and have been having lots of fun playing with my canine foster siblings and taking long walks with my human siblings. It would be perfect for me to be in a home where I can continue my love of playing with other dogs, cuddling with my family, and taking long walks. I’m not terribly fond of my crate, but it helps if I get a treat when I go into it. I might whine a for a minute when I first go in, but I sleep through the night in the crate and spend quite a bit of time in there during the day if my family is gone. I’m almost completely housebroken, so maybe crates won’t always be a part of my life. Have I mentioned I LOVE squirrels and bunnies? Well, if I’m being honest, I think I love them a bit too much for my own safety. I can easily jump my foster mom’s four-foot chain link fence, and have to be tied out or double-leash walked every time I go outside. I am such a sweet girl; I really hope I find the perfect family who will share their love with me and protect me. I don’t understand why I can’t just run around chasing squirrels and bunnies when I see them; but I guess keeping me safe is much more important. If you are able to do that, I would love to meet you and I promise you will love me as much as I will love you!
